Letter from the Board President
December 16, 2011
To all CTK Families:
It is hard to believe that we are already halfway through the 2011-2012 school year. So far, this year has been one of change and growth for our school community. As a parent and President of the CTK Board of Education it has been refreshing to witness CTK students, faculty and parents embrace this change and growth for the benefit of our school. Many thanks to Mrs. Godsey, Monsignor Knapp and Father Ryan whose combined leadership and guidance have helped to ensure that CTK continues to fulfill its mission of developing the spiritual, academic, emotional, and physical growth of each child in a safe environment through strong academics, a commitment to service, and the formation of Catholic values.
Our Board of Education is comprised of 9 members from our parish, a faculty representative and a PTO representative. This Board exists to serve in an advisory capacity to our Pastor and school principal on issues relating to the school. A listing of the 2011-2012 Board of Education members can be found under the link for the Board of Education on the school website. Board of Education meetings are generally held the third Wednesday of each month in the Parish Center. The specific date and time of these meetings are published on the school calendar.
Beginning in 2012, the agenda and minutes of the monthly meetings will be posted on the CTK website. If you would like for a topic to be included on an upcoming agenda, please contact Mrs. Godsey no later than the 10th of the month. We welcome your input at meetings as well. In that regard, if you have any questions, suggestions or comments please email me or any member of the Board of Education at the address listed on the school website.
