A letter From The President

The Christ the King Board of Education’s main goal is to make sure school policies are implemented or altered to fit our current school needs. We support our administration and school staff in providing opportunities for our children’s enrichment. Our board meetings are held every third Wednesday of the month and are open to the CTK community.

Our Board of Education has embraced Sister Mary Karen’s goals for the 2009-2010 school year. These goals are implemented throughout the year and are discussed and reviewed at our board meetings. Under each goal Sister provides several creative plans to assist in achieving these targets.  Sister Mary Karen has put great thought in these goals and is dedicated to CTK’s success.

Mission Statement:Our school is a Christ-centered community who embraces and encourages all children to reach their full potential. Goals for 2009-2010:

  • Emphasize Catholic Identity with school and parish communities.

  • Encourage learning among all students of all ages, of all potentials.

  • Engage collaboration between faculty/staff,  administration, and parents.

  • Enhance communication among school, parish & civic communities.

As our youngest daughter closes the car door each morning, I’m greeted by a warm smile and a wave as she is excited to start a new day of school. This reminds me that Christ the King is a school that is focused in providing the best in education and service for our youth. Christ the King is a safe nurturing environment where our children can achieve their full potential.

We must all strive to be ambassadors for our School and Parish community. Many changes have been witnessed throughout our family’s 20+ years at Christ the King. This growth transforms us to better prepare our youth for the future. Please consider volunteering at our School and Parish and you will gain a network of friends that will stay with your family for years to come. Thank you for your dedication and support of Christ the King.
