Mrs. Sara Watson
Grade 5 Teacher
I have a Bachelors of Science in Elementary Education from Murray State University.
I have been trained in reading and assessing KY Accountability Portfolios and administering Standardized Testing. I have also been trained and certified in First Aid and CPR by the American Red Cross. In 2005, I participated in an environmental education workshop which taught me some useful and exciting ways to bring environmental knowledge into the classroom.
I began my teaching career as a student at Murray State University. My student teaching experiences include third and fourth grade classrooms at Murray Elementary School. I also taught seventh grade mathematics and science study skills for several months while substituting for a long-term maternity leave at Calloway County Middle School. In addition, I have substituted for and aided teachers at various Murray and EVSC schools and local daycare centers, working with children ranging from birth to fifth grade.
I am excited to begin teaching at Christ the King. I believe students will excel both academically and personally if they can be educated in an environment that allows them to see and feel God’s amazing Love every day.
Crafts, the outdoors, watching movies, board games, reading with my sons, visiting with family and friends.
